#retailers#packaging#food#environmental

These are the top 10 according to research done by Sainsbury’s – interesting, but do you agree?

Fruit and vegetables: bagged and boxed
Meat packaging: hard to recycle
Yoghurt pots: multipacks don’t need further packaging
Cereals: bagged and boxed
Pizza: packed in several thin layers
Ready Meals: don’t need outer cardboard wrapper
Milk: needs to be more recyclable
Multi-pack cans
Crisps: too much waste in multipacks
Tomato puree: no need for box around tube
