Bob has an awesome 40 years tooling experience, starting as an apprentice and graduating through draughtsman, engineering and managerial roles. He has developed and project-managed complicated multi-million pound tool design and build in a number of sectors, initially for Universal Tools (Automotive, Personal Care, Cosmetic Industries) and more latterly for Cope Allman Plastics Packaging (Pharmaceutical, Medical, Personal Care &  Beverage Industries).

He adds an invaluable technical capability to the Design Cognition portfolio with his skills in tool & product design, project management and equipment validation. He is skilled in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Lighthouse SPC (Statistical process Control), Minitab (Statistical analysis), SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Dies) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
